2024 Victoria Village Summer Festival Schedule

12PM & 2:30PM James Correa
James Correa is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, musician and actor based out of Montreal. He has released three albums of his own songs, to critical acclaim and has contributed to several others as a musician and vocalist. In 2011, Correa collaborated on 2 songs for the movie Funky Town starring Patrick Huard. As a live performer, Correa has enjoyed a lengthy career as both a singer and musician while supporting his recording career and backing up such artists as Jason Bajada, Mitsou Gelinas and Meredith Marsha.
1:15PM & 3:45PM The Invisibles – duo
The Invisibles are a dynamic musical duo founded on a mutual love of classic Americana. Filtering Folk, Rock, Country and old school RnB through Louise Selby’s soulful vocals and Alan Springer’s adept guitar playing, The Invisibles acoustic treatments of classic material is sure to appeal to any fan of a good old fashioned campfire jam.

11:30AM -12:15PM Pat Lesyk
Patrick Lesyk is a folk musician from Montreal who has been performing live for over 20 years. He is best known as the singer/guitarist for the internationally-known Celtic folk group Solstice, who regularly perform across Canada, the US, and Europe. When not fronting Solstice, Patrick performs locally drawing from his vast repertoire of traditional songs as well as classic and popular folk, rock, and pop songs from the 60’s to present day.
12:30PM – 1PM Monsieur Magic is back!
He performs skillful sleight of hand and visual comedy illusions close up and on stage. Mind-boggling and colourful tricks with rope, rings, cards and much more!
1PM – 2PM The Grinders
The Grinders are Lee-la and Tom, an acoustic powerhouse duo who have played all over the world. They play songs they love that have inspired them from the1960’s and on. Join them for an afternoon of nostalgia, peace, love and rock and roll!
2PM – 2:30PM Break City Dancers
More than just a dance program this is a community that empowers people of all ages to develop their confidence through the art of hip hop dance. www.breakcity.ca
2:30PM – 3:15PM Tatum Quinn Duo
Tatum Quinn (vocals) & Robbie Groeneveld (acoustic guitar)are the dynamic duo you’ve been waiting for; Blending genres to ignite hearts and uplift spirits through the power of music. Their goal is to brighten your day with unforgettable laughter, love and timeless memories. 4PM – 4:45PM The Tina Trons
Focusing on the Post Punk and New Wave Bands of the early 80’s (Go-Go’s, B52’s, Bangles, Pretenders, Blondie) The Tina Trons deliver a high energy fun filled show that doesn’t dwell in the past but instead celebrates a time of excitement and change. This group of seasoned veteran Montreal musicians bring unparalleled intensity and infectious fun to each and every performance. YouTube Website

11AM – 3PM Mike Uzan, in front of Cucina di Tony on Sherbrooke
Mike is a singer/guitarist with a vast repertoire of favorites from the 60’s and 70’s – this talented musician plays six different styles of music; rock, reggae, R&B, funk, country and disco!
12PM – 4PM Cassini/Reed, on Victoria and Sherbrooke
Cassini Reed are an Acoustic Duo featuring Larry Cassini on Guitar and Vocals (The Echo Hunters, Durham County Poets) and Jim Reed on Guitar and Vocals (Fabulous Flashbacks). They have gained a loyal and devoted following over the years playing Montreal’s folk/rock circuit. Their sound features driving acoustic guitars and dynamic vocals that will have you dancing or singing along no matter what the occasion.
1PM – 5PM Ian Hanchet, on Victoria – Westmount Florists
Ian Hanchet is a graduate of the Jazz program at Concordia University and the Music education program at McGill University. He has dedicated his life to music education and therapy, but has recently scaled back his work to focus primarily on writing and performing music in intimate settings. His original music is available on Apple Music, Band camp and his YouTube channel. His solo act includes his own original compositions, as well as covers of a wide range of artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Pass ,Chet Baker, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jesse Winchester, Joni Mitchell and Gordon Lightfoot. 12PM to 4:30PM Centre Greene will host games and activities for children (on Somerville and Victoria)
1PM – 4PM Visual Arts Centre – Victoria & Somerville
Workshop ‘Marbled pinwheel (eco-friendly)’ Teacher: Isabelle Bredt
This workshop explores techniques of marbling on paper and simple folding to create an original and functional pinwheel. The techniques will be carefully demonstrated and all materials are provided. Children under 5 years old are welcome, but will need help from their accompanying adults. Free! No registration needed, come when you can.

12:00PM & 2:30PM Brian Gallagher
Brian Gallagher broke onto the music scene in 2008 as the guitarist/songwriter for the Hudson, Qc folk-rock band “Happenstance”. In 2023 he released his fourth solo album “Surroundings Familiar” to much critical acclaim. Over the years he has been awarded or recognized in song writing competitions worldwide.
1:15PM & 3:45PM Paolo Stante Duo
Paolo Stante is a singer, songwriter and guitarist playing modern interpretations of the classic blues and rock sound. His most recent LP album, “Lawless,” continues to garner critical and fan acclaim since its global distribution in March 2024. He is joined by Dan Legault, an in demand multi-instrumentalist who has played all over the world.
