Live Music in the Square
For the month of July, we are bringing a bit more life to Victoria Village with Live Music in the Square!
Here are the scheduled musicians.
Saturday, July 6th: Double Tonic
12:00pm to 12:45pm, 1:15pm to 2:00pm, and 2:45pm to 3:30pm
DOUBLE TONIC is one part Gary White – a veteran of the Montreal music scene who has honed his craft (guitar/vocals and harmonica) performing for audiences all over the world – and one part Stephanie Marcq (vocals) – a late bloomer who has been flying under the radar killing it in Karaoke bars for years waiting for her big break. Combined, they make a sweet sound and their quirky repertoire, covering a broad range of artists including Nancy Sinatra, ABBA, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Janis Joplin and Sonny and Cher will put a smile on your face and leave you wanting more!
Sunday, July 14th: Sarah Vanderzon
12:00pm to 12:45pm, 1:15pm to 2:00pm, and 2:45pm to 3:30pm
Sarah is a bilingual folk-pop singer/songwriter from the south shore of Montreal who’s quickly making her mark across Quebec. She recently put out her first EP “Same Sad Eyes” that includes her single “I Don’t Know Myself At All”, an upbeat sad song about self-sabotage and staying in the same place. Her lyrics are inspired mostly on trying to navigate her purpose in life and on the heartbreaks that made her who she is today.
